Daniel J. Petrone is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School. Mr. Petrone is admitted in the State of New York and in the Federal District Court for Northern New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Onondaga County Bar Association.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Petrone went to work for three years at a private law firm in Syracuse, New York before he was selected to spearhead a multi-county homeownership/foreclosure prevention program. In that capacity he successfully negotiated numerous loan modifications and foreclosure prevention settlements. Through these processes both inside the courtroom and at the negotiating table, Mr. Petrone has gained an exceptional knowledge and perspective of real estate matters.
Throughout the legal community, Mr. Petrone has gained a reputation as a respected and skilled attorney and has taught other attorneys Continuing Legal Education courses regarding foreclosure defense and landlord-tenant law. He has also acted as the keynote speaker for several public events where he has spoken to the community at large concerning real estate law, the foreclosure process, and tenants’ rights.
In addition to specializing in real estate and foreclosure defense work, Mr. Petrone brings a wealth of expertise to many other facets of the law. Mr. Petrone lives in Syracuse, New York with his wife and their four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves the outdoors. He is also a sports fanatic, a music lover, an avid reader and a history enthusiast. Mr. Petrone is highly involved in the community and serves as pro-bono counsel to Grace Chapel in Skaneateles, New York, as well as a mentor for the Syracuse City School District, a coach for Valley Little League, and as a volunteer at the Rescue Mission.
